First Thursday of each month from 2 to 3 p.m. the Farmers' Market will host a guest chef who will feature fresh food, meat or seafood from the market vendors. Samples will be offered. Local wineries offer tastings at each market, 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays through Oct. 9.

Summer Lunch Programs
HOME Youth&Resource Center, Salem

Community Action Agency's HOME Youth&Resource Center participates in the Summer Food Service Program. HOME provides a safe environment for at-risk and homeless teens where they also can find positive activities, assistance with school and jobs, clothing and meals. Lunch is served from noon to 1 p.m. and dinner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. daily.
